Contrast and backlighting are not just photoshop functions. They are a way to judge and experience sunray intensity. Today was a day where the object in front of a person was only 7 percent visible with direct sunbacklighting. Meaning the sunshine was so bright that only silhouettes were apparent. Only 7 percent of an objects distinguishing characteristics were visible. Like the shape of a nostril or traction patterns on a wheel of an H3.
