The signal to the end of summer came today, the last Saturday of August. What appeared as little grey yesterday came back for a repeat performance today, this time bringing a bit of a sprinkle in the northern valleys. It is good, a welcome change. It sure won't be a lasting change but for just this weekend we can pretend that we should be out gathering dry goods for the impending hibernation period. Grey days make you a creative forward-thinker like that.
