Yesterday the writers' strike took a bizarre turn, as a group of nurse sharks began circling picketers in front of Paramount. The nurses were incensed that the continuing strike had deprived them of their "chance to kick back with 'Scrubs,' and stay up on the latest health-care-romance-humor news." Dressed in shark costumes from Riggly's on Sunset, the nurses began gnawing on strikers' ankles with their four-inch rubber shark teeth, until police intervened.
