It was a soft day. That's what the Irish call a misty low-cloud day. I heard it on NPR a few days ago during their coverage of the Joe Torre press conference at Dodgers Stadium and wanted to wait a few days before using it. I wasn't going to mention borrowing from the radio show but.. I dunno, you'd think it takes bright sunshine to expose truth but it's these cloudly days that encourage full disclosure.
